FAQ
Do I need a team to join?
No. You can join solo or bring a complete team. Individuals are placed on a team, and every skill level can participate. We prioritise competitive balance so that games stay enjoyable.
When and where does Revent play?
Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7 PM sharp, at Estancia High School, 2323 Placentia Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92627. Every team plays on the same night at the same location.
What is The Third Half?
After the final whistle the night continues at one of our partner venues, The Crack Shack or Harp Inn, both in Costa Mesa. It is where players from every team meet, and it is the reason Revent is a social soccer club rather than just a league.
What is the format?
Adult 7v7, two 25 minute halves with a 2 minute break, no offside and no slide tackling. Wednesday is Co-ed, with a minimum of 3 women on the field. Tuesday is the Men's league.
What do I need to wear?
Your official Revent Sports team jersey, shin guards and appropriate soccer footwear. Goalkeepers must wear colours that clearly distinguish them from both teams and the referee.
Can I play as a substitute?
Yes, provided you complete the official Revent Sports registration, provide the required participant information, accept the waiver and terms, and pay the $15 substitute player fee for insurance and liability before kick off.
Registration is closed. What now?
Seasons have limited capacity. Join the Revent Priority List and you will hear first about registration availability and upcoming seasons. Joining the list does not guarantee placement; invitations are issued based on availability and roster needs.
Can my company enter a team?
Yes. Revent runs company teams, private branded match nights, corporate tournaments and field days, and client or employee hospitality. See the For Companies page and get in touch through the contact form.
